Fortified Krav Maga Schedule
Level 1 Adult Krav Maga-This is our beginner adult self-defense class. Each class starts with a warm-up and then we pick a specific skill to work on. Typically, in the first half of class we will work on a specific strike such as punches, kicks, elbows, knees, etc., or any variation of those. In the second half of class we will work a specific self-defense context and drill it. We don't believe in teaching exact techniques but focusing on the principles behind defining yourself. This class is for men and women 16 and up. Some exceptions for younger students can be made. Contact us for details.
Adult Fitness-As the name suggests, this is our fitness-based class. This will focus less on the self-defense aspect of training and more on your conditioning, although, there is still some striking involved. We will use calisthenics, kettlebells, medicine balls, and more paired with some striking on heavy bags to help you get into fighting shape!
Kids and Teens Krav Maga-The kids and teens class cover the same material as the adult class however it is taught differently. The kid's classes are a little more formal to reinforce life skills like discipline, respect, and integrity. The kids wear belts and uniforms, unlike our adult class. We have 3 age groups for kids and teens. Ages 5-7, 8-12, and 13-17. There is some flexibility on a case-by-case basis in terms of what ages can attend what class. Contact us for details.
Mixed Level Krav Maga-This class is also beginner friendly. The only difference between this and the Level 1 Adult Krav Maga class is the specific curriculum being taught.
Fight Class/Adult Sparring-The sparring class is available for those who have been training for 3 months or longer or by instructor invite. This is an excellent chance to test your skills in a safe, controlled environment. Sparring is required to test into levels 3 and higher.
Level 2/3 Adult Krav Maga-This class is for those who have tested into levels 2 and 3. The higher-level curriculum is taught, and it is taught at a faster pace.
